01. When did you become a photographer?
Professionally since 2011, but in my heart since I first picked up a 35mm camera in 2004.
02. What’s your favorite part of a wedding?
Photographing with the couple during the last moments of peaceful and golden daylight.
03. What do you shoot with?
Top of the line Canon equipment with all prime (fixed) lenses.
04. How long have you lived in Los Angeles?
I moved to LA in January 2010. Before that I lived in Boston, and I’m originally from the beautiful state of New Hampshire.
05. How would you describe your artistic style?
Paris meets Palm Springs! Think elevated whimsy - take the romance and classic elegance of Paris and mix it with the clean lines, color, and funkiness of Palm Springs.
07. Which Hogwarts house would you be sorted into?
It's a toss up between Gryffindor and the most underrated house, Hufflepuff. Let's call it...Gryffinpuff!
08. How far out do you book?
Typically I book about 12 to 15 months out and take a limited number of full scale wedding bookings each year. Please feel free to reach out whenever you have a venue and date confirmed! Elopements and portrait sessions are much more flexible since they often take place mid-week.
09. I’m not having a hot pink wedding. Are you going to be bummed?
No way! I love ALL colors - mustard yellow, gray, dusty blue, pale peach, sage green, you name it!
10. What is your turn-around time?
About a month for an engagement session, about three months for a wedding or elopement. I'm a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to editing!
11. Do you travel for weddings?
Yes, absolutely! Nothing inspires me quite like a brand new destination. Don't be shy about asking - I'm always looking for an adventure! My travels have taken me to Hawaii, Paris and New Zealand, to name a few!
06. Do you photograph elopements or big weddings?
I capture marriage ceremonies of any and all sizes, but I'm extra partial to a smaller, intimate guest count.
