Adam and KC got engaged on a Ferris Wheel in Tokyo during a Sailor Moon fan tour, so they knew they wanted to include some fun watercolor and cartoon elements in their Malibu wedding! These two are such a loving, kind couple, and I truly had the best time capturing their joyful day. Although the weather was overcast and foggy, there was light and color everywhere thanks to them and their awesome guests! Heartthrob Weddings helped create a gorgeous day with loads of details, brought to life by the floral and design talents of Tropic of Flowers. Okay, let’s start at the beginning. Adam and KC got ready at an Airbnb right on the water in Malibu. I always love when couples choose to get ready somewhere with great natural light and a unique backdrop!

Kitty socks for the win.

KC and Adam didn’t need any direction from me – they’re so naturally affectionate and sweet with each other! My heart melted.

We left the beach and went into the canyon to Saddlerock Ranch‘s main lawn setting. Another Tropic of Flowers creation greeted everyone at their arrival!

The Woolsey Fire tore through Malibu just months prior in November 2018, but by June Saddlerock was back to its original glory!
