Emily and Luke knew they wanted a small, non-traditional celebration that was true to the two of them. They opted to do an intimate daytime micro wedding with their closest friends and family at the New York Marble Cemetery. This location is tucked away in Manhattan’s Lower East Side, and you’d never know it was a real cemetery! Emily and Luke had a speedy ceremony and spent most of the afternoon chatting with friends and family and enjoying their fully vegan menu. Their spirited rescue pups, Oreo and Flash, were the life of the party! We spent the last part of the day exploring some of their favorite classic Midtown destinations like the Flatiron Building and Grand Central Station. What a colorful, happy sunny day! I have a feeling we’re going to be seeing more and more micro weddings in the coming year and I’m here for it. You can also see Emily and Luke featured here on 100 Layer Cake today!
We kicked off their day with a first look outside the PUBLIC Hotel a couple of blocks away from the venue!
Emily customized this stunning Anais Anette gown. Isn’t the back gorgeous?!
As soon as Emily and Luke kissed their dog, Oreo, started barking. It was adorable!
