Mel & Ben’s Wedding at The Fig House

Wedding

Mel and Ben got married at The Fig House on 3.14, aka Pi Day! It also happened to be March 14, 2020, which meant that this was the last wedding prior to the nationwide pandemic shutdown. These two encountered every obstacle from dozens of last minute cancellations, sporadic heavy rain, vendor shifts, and wardrobe emergencies, but from their first look on the day was filled with nothing but immense joy. Mel and Ben love watching TV together and included a bunch of fun television references in their wedding. Mel’s cape sleeve wedding gown was inspired by Daenerys Targaryen of Game of Thrones, and Ben’s bright blue suit was inspired by a contestant from Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelor.
