Christine and Dom are incredibly joyful, warm, and a true delight to be around! They got married at BLOC Venue in Roseville, CA and made an industrial space into a colorful DIY pom pom explosion. These two met at work almost a decade ago and live in the Bay Area, so it was only fitting that they celebrated in NorCal. They love color, dancing, Disney, and have such a cool, unique style. I instantly felt like I’d known them for years even though their wedding day was the first time we met!
Let’s rewind to the beginning of the day. Christine picked out the cutest Airbnb in Sacramento to get ready with her ladies! A white space with great natural light and lots of pink accents? Yes please!
A pineapple doorbell, I mean, come on! Too cute!
I couldn’t get enough of Christine’s stunning custom floral embroidered gown from Heirloom Bride.
The colorful floral embroidery is so pretty and unique!
Christine had a custom denim jacket by Daily Disco made too! My Match!
Christine and her bridesmaids were so sweet! What a beautiful group of ladies!
“Something blue” hidden in the lining of Christine’s gown!
We did an impromptu first look with the bridesmaids and the reactions were priceless!
We went about five minutes down the road for their first look to a mural I discovered by Jessie and Katey for Wide Open Walls Sacramento – the exact color combo for Christine and Dom’s day! Dom was there waiting and looking super dapper in his burgundy suit and floral tie!
Ready for a super sweet first look?!
Christine’s gown is so stunning. That back!!
We drove up to BLOC Venue where the whole wedding party was waiting! What a colorful crew! Fun fact, this is the parking lot outside the venue. Beautiful light and lots of greenery for the win!
We coordinated with the VW Van photo booth to arrive a bit early for portraits. Best backdrop ever!
Time to go inside!
BLOC has a cool, industrial vibe. It opened last fall and Christine and Dom had one of the first weddings in the space! They DIYed hundreds of pom poms for decor.
Lots of happy tears on this beautiful day!
Just after the ceremony we popped outside to capture the last bit of sunlight. Cocktails in hand, of course!
The reception flip was all ready when we got back inside! Christine and Dom had a Día de los Muertos memorial tribute for their loved ones who have passed away.
Baby Bar Co. is pretty cute – and makes awesome drinks to boot!
A tequila shot seating chart to kick off the party!
That shade of yellow is one of my favorite colors. So sunny and festive!
Dom surprised Christine with a song!
This photo makes me giggle every time I see it!
The parent dances were incredibly sweet and emotional. There wasn’t a dry eye in the building!
To top things off – Dom also surprised Christine with a flash mob dance!
Such a fun, amazing day! Congrats Christine and Dom!!
